Buckhead landscaping

It’s an exciting day! Venyscapes is starting on your new project!

How to prep for your landscaping and drainage project

How will I know what time the crew will start?

Although we do give an arrival window, there are many variables in our industry, (weather, material/sod yard deliveries/lines, nursery lines, landfill lines, holiday closures, traffic. unforeseen circumstances, etc.). You will receive a text/call that our crew is on route, and this is normally 30-40 minutes beforehand.

Do I need to move my vehicles?

We ask that your driveway and front of house be clear of vehicles as we will be
running equipment/machinery/materials throughout the duration of the project, and we do not want any type of debris to ricochet onto vehicles.

Where will the materials be placed?

For ease and efficiency, we ask the truck drivers to place materials as close to the service site as possible. If project is going in front yard, we prefer to have materials placed in driveway. Additionally city ordinance prohibits us from placing materials on sidewalk, curbs, shoulders. If project is going in back yard, we prefer to have sod pallets placed as close to back yard as we can get. DO NOT leave the car in the garage as it can be blocked by pallets or materials.

Prepare for some noise:

Depending on the size and type of project, our crew will bring in equipment like blowers, mowers, tillers, stump grinders, trenchers, saws, etc.— which are all known for being noisy. We will not start until 8:00 am and usually go for the day by 6:00 pm.

Do I have to let my neighbors know you’re coming?

Although not required, we do recommend you give a courtesy notice to your neighbors letting them know that you will be having landscape work done. Because things might get messy: Depending on the type of project, you will be dealing with dust, dirt, stacks of materials and other things around your yard. It’s just a part of any project. Rest assured that we will clean up once the project is complete.

Do I have to be home during the service?

No, if we have access to the locations the install/service will be done as per approved estimate. Chilee or Travis will be onsite to coordinate crew and scope of work, should they have questions they will contact you by phone/text.

If I want changes to certain items while they are installing, can I just let the crew know?

No, the crew has been given scope of work as per agreed upon estimate. Any changes you wish to make please call or text 404-886-1751. Someone will also be onsite off and on to monitor progress.

Can I be in the work zone/service/install area?

Because there will be equipment and machinery in the work zone, we ask that customers do not enter the work zone. The Work Zone shall include all areas used and to be used by Venyscapes in the performance of the work, including all areas needed for mobilization, access, hauling, ingress, and egress. Customer agrees not to enter the Work Zone during the performance of the work unless authorized by the crew leader on-site. Customers further agree to keep the Work Zone free and clear from all employees, family members, children, and pets. Venyscapes is not responsible for pets getting out of any enclosure.

Do I need to be there when it is done?

Although we prefer to go over the final product and the aftercare instructions, you do not need to be home. We will send you text/email confirmation once install/service is complete, with any aftercare instructions if applicable. We will make sure areas are clean, and gates are closed.
