When does my warranty start?

Venyscapes limited drain warranty starts on the first day of installation. During installation your system is covered by us, but your 5 year warranty starts from the first day of the install.

What is covered with my drainage warranty?

Our drainage solutions are all covered by a 5-year warranty. Additionally, this warranty only covers the mechanical flow and functionality of the system.

What is not covered

The warranty does not cover “basic maintenance items.”

Certain drainage products require some maintenance or cleaning. If catch basins or channel drains are built, it is critical to blow off or otherwise keep the surface grates clear of impediments. The majority of landscapers are aware of this and will regularly blow any
drain grates off. If the drain grates are allowed to clog on the surface, pooling is likely. It’s also important
not to block or cover the drain line’s exit.

Next, heavy equipment damage is not covered by the guarantee.

While solid debris from gutters and downspouts flows through these systems, and some individuals plug the pipe’s exit point. Whereas solid debris will be captured by any coverings placed over the pipe’s termination.

French Drains require a somewhat different type of care.

In order to keep the aggregate clear of sediment and debris,
allowing water to flow into the system. This is the situation because French drains rely on clear, open
aggregate to transport water into the pipe. From time to time, this aggregate may need to be removed and
purged.

Our warranty does not cover Force Majeure.

Presently our systems are based on our personal thoughts, previous experience, and information obtained at homeowner meetings. The most appropriate pipe size and
capacity/volume of the system will be chosen to balance function, cost, and impact on the property. While Venyscapes will install a drain system where the problem currently exists. If the topography or earth varies, we shall not be held liable.

We can’t promise that water won’t get into or through any structure (basements, crawlspaces, etc).

Presently our systems are designed to prevent water entry, they can fail or have a backup due to overwhelming conditions beyond our control. Specifically severe stormwater conditions, local or area flooding, hurricanes, other acts of God and nature, or even the homeowner’s misrepresentation of the issue and/or any other human error that cause drainage system failure or underperformance.

Lastly if someone tampers with the drain, whether a homeowner or a contractor, by adding pipes or removing
and replacing it. The warranty will be void and unenforceable. Therefore you can not hold Venyscapes liable for any future concerns with your drainage system.

Warranty Will Be Void Without Proper Maintenance

Although we offer a 5-year all-inclusive warranty, this will be void if you do not properly maintain your drain. Read more about our drainage maintenance tips here.

Governing law
This Warranty is governed by Georgia law, excluding its conflict of law rules.

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold Venyscapes including its employees and affiliates, harmless from and against any and all claims, incidents, liabilities, procedures, damages, losses, and expenses. Specifically and including reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to our Services.
